no signal to monitor help!!!?

when i turn on my pc there is no signal to the monitor........everything turns on, everything is connected properly......it worked fine yesterday until i bumped the pc it and it turned off......i tried 2 different video cards and i have the same problem......the monitor has power just no signal.....it worked fine until i bumped it.......i hope i didnt fry something....any ideas will help

Have you tried swapping out the monitor cable with one that you know works?

And can you change the monitor's resolution? Also, if you have a TV-out on your video card, you might want to see if it works; however, some video cards have the TV-out enabled by changing settings while viewing the default monitor, so trying the TV-out may be difficult or impossible.
