Is there a way to shut off the display of the Nav once you have already begun using it? The only way I have found to shut it off it to not touch it when I start the car...

Also, because I have Navigation does this mean I don't have homelink? It seems like the Nav microphone is where the homelink should be.

The system has a 30 second timer on the navi system to shut the display off if you don't touch any buttons within 30 seconds of turning the ignition key to the ON position. According to my 2003 Accord EX-L Coupe manual, the only other way to shut the display off is to use the 'set up' button below the lower right hand corner of the Navi screen to turn the display OFF. I haven't tried it, but the owners manual says to use the set-up/display/OFF to shut the display off when you're not using the system. I don't know if you have to hit the "I agree" button on the permission screen to get to the set-up screen or not. I don't think the set-up/display/off process is a permanent fix; I think you will have to do it each time. It may just be easier to wait the 30 seconds for the system to turn itself off.

I have Homelink on my 2003 coupe. the homelink controls are on a panel over the rearview mirror. I think they are in that location on all of the accords. You didn't mention if your car is a coupe or sedan or the year so i can't tell you anything other than I have it on mine and I have the Navi.

Hope that answers your questions
