She is hiding the fact that the documents used to justify the war in Iraq and subsequent 3000 dead US soldiers were falsified and therefore constitution treason.

She is trying to stand by her man, bush.
She also knows it will be political suicide to testify. If she tells the truth, if she takes the 5th, or if she can't recall, she will be dead politically. Refusing to testify at least buys her some time, maybe until bush can write a new law making it illegal and un-American to ask Condi to testify.

Asked and answered. Waxman should be arrested and charged with harassment. Right from your own source:

Rice said she was "more than happy" to respond to the committee in a letter, but suggested she would not appear in person. Her spokesman, Sean McCormack, said later that no final decision had been made about a possible appearance before the committee.

Rice maintained that she had already testified in person and under oath about the uranium issue during her confirmation hearing for the job of secretary of State.

"I addressed these questions, almost the same questions, during my confirmation hearing," she said. "This is an issue that has been answered and answered and answered."

Rice also noted that the period in question was covered by executive privilege.

"This all took place in my role as national security adviser," she said. "There is a constitutional principle. There is a separation of powers and advisers to the president under that constitutional principle are not generally required to go and testify in Congress.

Besides, who wants to sit there and look into those two enormous nostrils? I bet you'd hear your own voice echoing back at you from those caverns.

Hillary couldn't remember events about Rose Law firm and we didn't see a bunch want to lynch her. There are some things out there that are no body's business and like with the Attorney General, firing appointed lawyers is legal. Bill fired 93 of them.

Of course, the liberals want a dog and pony show to try and hide their take over of America and the socialism they try to hide.

This is no surprise to me. Of course she is hiding something. Probably a lot of somethings. I believe that she is just as guilty of wrongdoing as the rest of this administration. *sm*
