Politics are hard to follow. When I was younger all I gave a hoot about was working, partying, having fun. As I got older, and started noticing how government was raping my paycheck, I got a little more interested. However, the more I follow politics the more I hate it. The people we have in office are terrible. I don't think too many of them have Americans best interests in mind. I've become very cynical.

I do. I like South Park also. It usually does come down to picking between a douche bag and a turd in the real world.

South Park is often savvy political satire. It hits close to home on this issue.

I think it is because they are being told that America is responsible for all the evil in the world and they do not want to take a part in that evil.

Or it could be that most Americans are just lazy.
