For someone who wasn't even born when Elvis walked this earth, I thought the duet was spectacular. I felt like I saw something that I had missed out on back in the 50s/60s. Sure, Elvis is dead in reality, but the fact that they put him onto the stage virtually isn't creepy. It's just for fun, and you have to take these things with a grain of non-seriousness and have an imagination. This is the only way you can feel in awe of something.

I thought it was kind of creepy. It would have been better had they just had a video of Elvis on the big screen and Celine Dion could have sung along with him, like Natalie Cole did with her dad, Nat King Cole. This was super creepy...Elvis looking like he was standing on the Idol stage with Celine. Almost as creepy as a few years ago when they had Fred Astaire dancing with a vacuum cleaner for that stupid commercial.

I think that it was great due to the fact that some of the audience, including the contestants had not even been born then or possibly heard of Elvis back then, so I think it was enlightening to them as well!

it was more then just video editing..
that piece was taped beforehand by Celine singing in front of a green screen and then they added Elvis later......
you could totally tell it was prerecorded...one way was that they never showed close-ups of the audience...

I thought it was pretty awesome. It looked kinda believable, and Celine sounded great.

This wasn't creepy at all, it was amazing. It's not like the ghost of Elvis was there, it was video footage. I thought it was great!

It kind of freaked me out. Creepy singing with a dead person. I wonder how they did that??
