When I read your question, I immediately thought "he should actually fight back against the dems and their 'scandal-a-day-against-Bush b.s.".
He should be on tv communicating with the American people at least weekly.
Interesting to see you thought the same thing!

There are several things, but the most prominent in my mind right now would be to toughen up his stance on illegal immigration. Everytime the words "comprehensive strategy" come out of his mouth in regards to this issue, I shudder. The American people, conservatives, centrists, and many liberals alike have spoken out LOUDLY and demanded that those who break our laws not be given special treatment.

It would help. I would appreciate anyone in this administration standing up. Outside of talk radio, Ann Coulter seems to be the lone voice for conservatives. That's why so many Liberals hate her.

Close the border.
We can talk later about the ancillary problems, but the border must be closed first - everything can be dealt with AFTER the floodgates are sealed.

I already like em for saying that he was going to veto the bill, even before they finished talking about it...
And ya gotta love it when he trashes Pelosi.....she says awful things about him, and then says that we need more understanding and less division....hypocrite?....
I want to see Bush take Sen. Reid and Pelosi by the throat and throw them into the middle of a Baghdad gun fight......let them see who they want to take funding away from.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. He's been acting like a punching bag for far too long and he's only encouraging the Defeatocrats to be more and more aggressive with their disengeuousness.
