Please. Why not be a fan of a woman who worked full time, took care of her kids, and all the while was battling cancer? Or a school teacher, or a bus driver, or a cop ,or a fireman, or a doctor,etc..? I am still looking forward to the day when I can
***** slap Paris Hilton for being a completely useless drain on society. Don't give me a reason to be hateful to yet another pointless female-note that I didn't call it a woman. That was on purpose.

Not bitter. Just disoppointed that we as a society can't make up our minds; do wo admire and respect the hard working individual who fades into the background or do we idolize the rich and wanna be pretty. Cause let's face it, Paris Hilton isn't all that 'hot'. I've seen better in the Post Office.

Because sadly, society worships the rich and famous because morals mean NOTHING to them.They also promote the things these people do and parents make sure television influences their kids so they can imulate people like paris and britney.

Ummm, SOMEONE'S a little bitter...If you're waiting for society to stop idolizing people who are famous for nothing, then you're going to be waiting a very long time. That's life. I don't agree with it either, but why waste your time being angry and resentful about it? Who cares?

people are drawn to celebrities for whatever reason... they are not "real people"
it's no use getting yourself all stressed out over this stuff....
