I thought it was St. Peter. Anyway it shouldn't be St. Paul.
Take a look around the eastern Med. There are numerous places named St. Paul, in one language or another. They all maintain that they were founded because St. Paul was shipwrecked on the spot. That makes him the worst sailor in history.
OK, checked it out, it's St. Nicholas. Patron saint of fishermen is St. Andrew - anyone can make a mistake!
I do remember being taken into the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board building in Liverpool. Inscribed on the inside of the dome is a dedication which goes something like this '..to those who go down to the sea in great ships and do their business in great waters.' My father said, 'Dirty buggers.' So he was a Scouser, but he was also an Anglican priest and a member of the Royal Society of Health.

At least in Greece it is st Nicholas, I am not sure if it is the same everywhere.
