imagination is why 'knowlege' exists! It is THE SINGLE GREATEST FORM OF KNOWLEDGE! Take a second and think about it! Look around at all the great things that have been thought up! It started with imagination,... NOT with the knowledge of making those things (if that makes any sense at all) One!

Because imagination can do what knowledge dares not to do. Imagination can dream up impossible things that may work, while knowledge will only tell you what will work. Imagination can put you places you've never been, never seen, never even heard of, but they can be there.

I can't really tell which is more important.
Knowledge with no imagination is as weak as imagination with no knowledge, is.
They both should harmonise to the benefit of a human.

it isn't whatsoever. because imagination is based off of knowledge. if you never gain an observation through your world experience then you can't imagine such things.
