It may have a local meaning, but these are the definitions returned by the online Urban Dictionary (You might check here the next time a question like this arrises):
1. trank: tranks also means pills that calm you down (sedatives and benzodiazepines). Short for tranquilizers.
Why did my doctor take away my tranks?
2. trank: (verb) to relax. As in trank out. Derived from "tranquilizer"
"After a glass of wine and a good nap I was so tranked out."
3. trank: verb - to trank. To intentionally add preposterous or nonsensical editorial to a funny story in order to sabotage the humor of it.
Thanks for tranking the story Sean. Or... He just tranked the whole joke.
4. trank: Any girl that would be considered both a trick and a skank.
5. Trank: n. - Trent Reznor. (of Nine Inch Nails)
I saw a picture of Trank doing the man-gina
Despite what the Urban Dictionary Says, I would also agree that two liters of Beer might be a logical answer as well, since beer (namely the component called alcohol) is a depressant which would make it a tranquilizer.

"I'm bringing too tranks" ...?
My guess would be the word too=2 and tranks=tranqueslizers, as in the drug. If you read this on your kid's instant messenger, I'd suggest you don't let them hang out with whoever sent this, or they could end up dead. I'm just being honest, good luck.

Not good, it means two tranquilizers. "Tranks" is short hand for tranquilizers. Hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am. Good luck to you!

It means the teen is on the one way road to no good, and possibly worse, if they are driving a car, tanked up on booze and tranquilizers,, someone might die

Sounds like he may be intending to crash a party bringing Ozzy Osbourne and Rush Limbaugh.
