Are we ever going to go? Do we have a right to go? What will we find there? What will have evolved? Will there be evolution? How would a trip to another life supporting planet change our perspective on the universe?

it is 20 light years away that is 118 million million miles from earth.the thought of going there gives me goosebumps!!lol!its probably gonna take us another 1000 years to reach there, if man makes a really really fast spaceship(eg like in star wars hehe). i dont think we will live for those many years so its upto the future generation to decide what they can do.but if something does get invented in our lifetime, id love to have a trip. i do believeits got life and i also believe there are more planets out there like ours . no wonder thats where the ufos cm frm and they might even be more advances than us???? :D

Nobody will go there in your lifetime, we simply do not have the ability, yet.
We have every right to go! We are a free people and can go where we want!
Nobody knows what we would find there. Very little is known, or can be known from such a distance.
We do not even know if there is life there, only that the temperature is about right, but in all probability it is lifeless anyway.
A trip to, or even just certain knowledge of, another planet with life on it would change people's thinking dramatically. For one thing, there would be a lot less complaining that space exploration is a waste of time and money.

All we know is similar temperature to earth and 5 times the mass. It could be a sea of sulphuric acid, have no atmosphere and anything else you can imagine.

it would make us immigrants, but we would be able to sign on get a free house and load of hand -outs. we could get there by hiding in the space shuttle the same way they get over here
