I have been Handling rings all day. I've stretched a few too! A elderly lady about 80 with swollen knuckles came in yesterday, she needed her ring cut off before I could re-size it. When I did it for her, I sniggered as she announced she hadn't had it off in 35 years.

I did, a while ago, with a ring I bought for myself.
When i got my wedding ring, though, it just happened to be the right size.

lol
let's see, I had triplets last year...
we got a plain band for me to wear while pregnant, and resized it twice.
after babies, we went back to original wedding band, blessedly intact.
