Disconnect the battery and the ac adapter. Hold down power button for one full minute. Wait two and a half more minutes. Plug in AC adapter. Turn on machine. If machine comes on, allow it to boot all the way, then shut down machine. Put in battery, and let it charge for at least four hours before using the machine.

If machine did not come on, check for possible loose connection port in back of computer or replace ac adapter.

There is either a problem with the Screen...maybe the screen burnt out, or there is an electrical problem inside the laptop somewhere. I would take it back to where you bought it to have them take a look inside the laptop. Do not attempt to do it yourself as it will void the warantee. Its really hard to tell whats wrong with it with so little information as to what you've tried and what happened when you tried.

Take it back where you bought it or call Sony tech support.
