It depends on what state you live in. Some states have "child support guidelines" that will tell you how much you have to pay. In some states, it's calculated solely on what you earn. In others, the guidelines factor in what she's earning, too.

depends on what state you live in, just do what is right and take care of the baby till the divorce is finalized, keep receipts of everything you buy for the baby, and when you give her money pay with either a check or money order. Being that you are asking for the divorce she might be rather evil towards you and not let you see the child, hang in there and go to court for custody if you are serious about being a father. good luck

this will be decreed in a court of law...but usually 20% for one child. The amount of your income is irrelevant...20% is typical
