Yes. We were clearing out the garage the other day and came across some things which had been put there when we moved some six and a half years ago. There were letters from thirty odd years ago - some from my Mum (who died in 1996), previous boyfriends, friends, family and others no longer with us. I am looking forward to reading them again.
I also have many keepsakes from when my son was born and during his growing up years.
I am extremely sentimental and proud to be that way!

There are certain things I'm sentimental about. I still have all the sheet music from the music festivals I was in back in high school. I'll always keep onesie that my son had his newborn picture taken in.
Other things I don't care about. I threw out my high school yearbooks years ago. I don't much care for pictures. I don't like souvenier knick knacks, etc,

It varies - I can be a bit of a hoarder - but I can also go on a chucking spree completely out of the blue and just clear everything out. I recently chucked out some love letter I got from my first boyfriend - I've had them for about 12 years and just threw them out mercilessly. I'll probably regret that.

Yes, I keep all of my children's baby teeth...
My oldest found them in my underwear drawer a few weeks ago, and I had to go into this dramatic monologue of amazement:
"HOW in the WORLD did she leave her collection behind?!! In MY DRAWER, no less? My GOODNESS, she is forgetful.....
Gosh, we will have to leave these out tonight with a note, reminding her that she will need all of these for building that big castle that she makes with all these little pearls....I WONDER when she was going to come BACK for them???!! WHAT was she THINKING??!" etc.
I also save flowers, cards, tickets, letters, diplomas, certificates, ribbons, awards, jewelry, coins, schoolwork, etc.

yeah I kinda am.... I usually keep anything that has a special meaning to me - however when I do a big clean out a year or so after - I tend to throw most of it out!! so not THAT sentimental!!! My intentions are good though!!

I am, and I do. Definitely. I see an old movie ticket and it awakens all sorts of associations. I am there again. I have a very active "memory imagination" if I may coin the term. Souvenirs of my past are central to who I am and my present well-being.

I keep a whole load of stuff that other people would probably throw away. I'm a bit soft like that.
