I know it will be vetoed. I said "if the Democrats get their way", which they won't.

Sad, isn't it?

I can not believe the movement in this country to make America weak. Why do so many not see that the only way to fight some evils is with brute strength?

I am declaring April 24th the new national holiday. The day Bush stood on the deck of the ship in front of "Mission Accomplished" banner in 2003 declaring a war victory.

IN order to override the presidential veto that will no doubt occur, a 2/3 majority will be required to pass the bill. For funding to be withdrawn in Iraq there will need to be bipartisan support.

This would not be considered "surrendering" since the reason we are there NOW is to keep the peace during the civil war between the Shiites and Sunnis. We already "won" when we removed Sadaam Hussein, remember? "Mission Accomplished".

It's BUSH who is VETOING the bill and CUTTING OFF FUNDING FOR THE TROOPS IN THE FIELD.

The civil war in Iraq created by the GOP is unsalvagable at this point. Everybody with a brain knows it. There is no military solution and we need to get out and let them settle it themselves.
