What is the most unusual thing you can think of to be grateful for?

We are all grateful for loved ones, flowers, pets and our freedom. What I am asking here is to dig deeper and think outside the box to find unusual things that you are grateful for.

For example:
Monte Roberts (The Man Who Listens to Horses) is color blind. But he is profoundly grateful for being color blind, because it helped him to see that the language horses use to communicate with eachother is an non-verbal "body" language.

Enemies. as strange as it seems, I am grateful for them to be here. THey make life so much dynamic. Plus if they don't like you, they can say a mean thing to you and you actually trust them because they are not holding themselves back. I mean what if you had a project and you asked a friend and someone who hates you for comments. ofcourse your friend would say your work is amazing sometimes to keep you happy but the person you don't like will say something constructive and something you haven't thought of.

Ofcourse there will be things you will not like but you can't be picky in life.
