because all they acare for is higher taxes, and wasting tax dollars on pork barrell projects so that they can live high on the hog in DC

I have no idea what you mean by that but I'll try to answer. I am a liberal who generally votes Democrat. I support people regardless of their being gay, straight, in the closet, our of the closet or simply uncertain. I know a lot of Democrats and some Republicans that do likewise. I'm not sure which Democrats you are talking about but it seems to me you are generalizing a bit. There are many Democrats that do not support Gay rights at all, many that do, and many others that sort of do. It's tough to lump all of any group into one neat pile.

But the ones in the closet don't respect the rights of those out of the closet.
Many are secretly under mining the ones out.

Answered to the best of my ability: They care little about the sexuality of anybody, gay (in and out of the closet), straight, bi, whatever. The only issue worth mentioning is how to deal with pedophilia.
