You'll need some basic understanding of HTML to make a website. HTML is the language used to actually code a website. Your best bet if you want a website is to find a free template online. This will give you the code and any images needed to assemble the website. You can make any minor changes to the template by altering the HTML code either through learning how in a tutorial or purchasing a book. HTML is someone complicated to learn, and most software that allows for website creation has a bit of a learning curve (such as Dreamweaver or GoLive!).

Buy a web domain. Then edit with scripts. If you dont know what scripts are just hire a webpage designer. And put what the heck you want on it.

Simple as that.

► I would recommend using NVU editor (www.nvu.com), it's free and wont tie you down to one method of editing. NVU pages can be transferrable to frontpage or dreamweaver html editor
SEE http://www.interkeys.com/htmleditor for more info on Premium HTML Editors (WYSIWYG)

► For free hosting, try google pages pages.google.com or yahoo geocities ,
its sort of free hosting, but you are limited to a subdomain on googlepages & geo has ads on your website - otherwise I would use http://www.interkeys.com/tophosts to get one for a few bucks a month with 500 GIG bandwidth and the rich with features

its up to you how developed a site you want and if you want to use your own domain name
