I am an international student and my English listening is not very good, sometimes when my classmates who have a heavy accent talks to me I can not understand them at all. How do I say "sorry I don't understand your accent" without sounding rude?

Just say "I'm sorry, I didn't understand you. Your accent is hard for me to hear." Say it with a smile and they won't think its rude.

Say it just like that. It's not rude if you can't understand their accent.
