Does anybody know a website where they are looking for new talents?

Question

I've been trying so hard to find a website that helps people audition and be an actor/actress...

The only website i've seen is H.A. (Hollywood Auditions) which i've heard is a scam.

That's why i want to find a new website, so i would know if there is an upcoming audition.

preferably the website does VTR auditions...

If your just starting your career I suggest starting in community theatre. It may be small, but that's where you'll learn everything you'll need to know. Also take acting classes, some can be pretty pricey, and a scam; so if your under 18 make sure your parents check them out first. You also might want to consiter getting an agent, so you'll have someone who knows when the auditions are, and what ones he/she finds suits your age and acting ability best.

Go to Backstage.com You can do a free search there for auditions that meet certain specifications (ie your location, theatre, film or whatever)

You have to pay if you want to see the whole audition notice, but it's definitely not a scam. Often times you can see enough of the notice to get the information on your own via internet search though so you don't have to pay if you can't afford it :-) You can also go to the book store every thursday and look at it for free then put it back if there's nothing for you.
