I actually like it - You gotta name her something your want to no matter what anyone tells you - I named my baby girl Phoebe and I got a lot of negative reaction at first (from my family) - But now she's 4 and nobody ever talks about her name but she's got a lot of cool nicknames too - Phoebarelly, Phoebs - Phoebe Webee - and I can't imagine her w/ any other name.

It sounds the name of a stripper. While Holiday is unique, it is likely to be a little too unique once she hits grade school, let alone Jr. High boys that will crack on "taking a Holiday" and calling her "Happy Holiday" and the like.

Another thing to keep in mind is that kid's like personalized items that are in the stores once they hit about grade school (like pencil, pens, notebooks, etc.) and as companies only make up the more popular names for distribution, she will feel left out when her friends Emma and Jessica have stuff like that and she doesn't.

If anything, switch the two names around and go with Hope Holiday.

I don't think your child will appreciate being called Holiday. Hope is nice, but if it were my choice I would not choose Holiday.Sorry!

Nope. Not good. The child has to live with your decision. If you want an unusual name, go ahead, just don't pick one that kids will make fun of.

It sounds like a Yankee Candle scent. I don't like it at all. Pick a TOTALLY different first name. The middle name is good.
