Have you noticed that during the normal 'workin hours' that the majority of the answers are from conservatives and republicans? I know after 6:00 pm the amount of liberal and democratic posters rises dramatically. Why?
This is for fun - no need to get nasty if you are a con or a repub and chose to answer this question anyway.

Leave it to the Republicans to be proud of stealing time from their employers, bragging about being able to post on Q&A while supposedly working.

Because I went to school...I have an easy job (one that Americans will do) and I have the time.
Things around herre are slow right now...but in about a month...no one will hear from me during the day...
EDIT TO ADD----
I am NOT stealing...I am either really busy (to the point I can't think straight) or really not. Right now I am not....
When I am busy...and if this is the way your thinking goes...I work far more than 40 hours a week...I am salary so no overtime...so aren't they stealing from ME when I work 10-20 hours OT a week and I am not paid for it?
It all comes out even in the end.
My boss knows we are slow...it's all good.
When we are busy....I bust assss....that is why I am paid what I am.
AND ONE MORE THING---
I am NOT a Republican...I take offense to that. I am an independent.

I'm glad that you posted this question. I won't be nasty about it, but I know that certain Republican trolls on here like to imply that the liberals have time to be on here, because they're all unemployed. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. The simple fact of the matter is that there are a lot of members of both parties who, for whatever reason, have time to be on here. I also have the sneaking suspicion that the vast majority of them all have jobs, too.
Paul McD: Actually, I'm a Democrat, and "CSI" and "Law & Order" are my favorite shows. However, I NEVER watch "The View".

Actually it has been my experience that during normal business hours the con postings drop off and the lib postings tend to be the majority. Probably do to the fact cons are at work contributing to the booming Bush economy where liberals are just waking up at noon in their parents basements and have more "leisure" time to post during business hours.

Just to throw a fun wrench into the YA at work theory. I suspect that after normal working hours (at least in my time zone) the people on the west coast are just getting to work. Just a thought from an alternate reality ;-P

I'm on call and I have to stay by my computer. Why not do something constructive while I'm sitting here. And just for the information of others my boss knows what I'm doing. As long as I keep everything running he doesn't have a problem.

I noticed that too.
I guess the answer would be either laziness, (Remember that welfare they get in the form of huge tax cuts) or cheating the employer by using a company cumputer for personal reasons.

actually, I hadn't noticed before, but now that you mention it....
Conservatives ask Liberals, "what is wrong with working & taking care of yourself" and Liberals answer "because it doesn't go far enough, we are morally obligated to all take care of each other"
So I think maybe lots of hard working democrats are paying the toll for lots of undermployed cons. After All, blue states pay more federal tax than the benefits they received. I'd say we should start cutting off the red states and watch those trailers get repossessed.

I think it's because during the day the Dems are all watching The View and other liberal talk shows. At night, the repubs are all watching CSI or Law & Order.

I have noticed that as well. Conservatives have more free time while working it seems.
I am not retired, but work when I feel like it and play when I don't.

i guess students are more open on any issue and they are free only in the evening.
and in the workin hours net is mostly surfed by working part of the world......i guess i'm rite
