All great characters, from Frank & Marie down to Gianni and Peter, Amy's brother. My favorite is Frank, mostly because he has those great one-liners. Honorable mention to Garvin, Frank's friend, played by Len Lesser. Reminds me of when he played Seinfeld's Uncle Leo, always had a catch-phrase greeting: Hello!...Hey, Ray's here! Ha-Haaa!

The cast is so perfect, I really can't pick a favorite. They all play off each other so well, that they even make the guest stars hilarious. (like the nuns in the episode about Marie's statue)

Marie, Rays mom, she's so funny, she drives everyone crazy, she's bossy, sticks her nose everywhere and wants to control her sons and her husband.The greatest part is that it's always her way no matter what.
