i was on an incline at a light, the car stalls. then it turns over for 30 seconds and dies and will not start. I have a mercury villlager 96 what do i do?

check for ignition spark at one of the spark plug wires using the tester link below. Then, if the sparks ok, hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve on your fuel rail. You should have 40 psi fuel pressure.

could be 20 differnt problems...ever tune it...got gas??starter turning it over..? you give no info...
