Good question. We were all born into sin. through Adam and Eve. But we shall ask for forgiveness and repent from our evil ways. Romans 7:18-20 says: "18: For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.
19: For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.
20: But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. "

Why do you say most people? I've seen very few making racist remarks.
Those few make a lot of remarks, but still only a handful. And if your next question is am I white, yes, but my wife is black so I'm pretty sensitive to racism.
I lived during the 60's, I saw signs that said white and colored, I have a friend who was kicked out of his apartment just because a black friend dropped by for a visit. This is NOT the 60's. You are obviously very young to make a statement like that.

I guess your not racist?
"whole white communities gathered around to watch a hanging of a black person during and before the 1960's while their white preacher said a passage from the bible"
Not stereotyping at all.

Romans 3:23 says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." All Christians are sinners. They are fallible, sinful human beings. The basis of Christianity compels us to believe that we are convicted sinners.
I find it difficult to understand when people look at someone committing a sin and saying "How can you call yourself a Christian?"
I'm not standing up for the racist behavior. It's intolerable. But every Christian in existence has sinned, and relies on Jesus Christ for forgiveness of those sins. So I, instead, would look at those who think they do NOT need forgiveness for anything, and ask, how can THEY call themselves Christians?

Most? No. But I have noticed a lot of that. Think of it this way - it seems like there are two kinds of people on Yahoo Answers - the kind who enjoy helping others and asking questions (even if they give funny answers or ask strange questions), and the kind who obviously have no friends, and a lot of time on their hands. Perhaps white people are just more likely to have few friends and nothing to do?

Like your question. Not everyone one here is a racist or a Xian. There are plenty of genuine helpful people on YA. You can usually tell where a question is going by the way it's asked. There's plenty of "Trolls" who bash minorities, Non-Xians, as well as Xians, also biased political questions. I just ignore them. If you think they get too abusive you can always report them.

I don't know how they did that ... I find the whole thing appalling.
But I'd challenge you to find "most white people" here on Yahoo and show how they are racist ... after all, it's all written here in plain English. If you are going to make that sort of comment, please be prepared to back it up with evidence.

There is no white and black before God. All are equal before Him. He punishes me and you if we sin but if we walk before Him uprightly, He will continue to bless us. Do not be shaken with these flimsy reasons and concepts. WE LOVE YOU!

The same way you just lumped all White Christians together. They were generalizing their beliefs that they were doing the right thing. It doesn't make it right, but it is one explanation.

Maybe you just take it in the wrong way as maybe you are looking to find that in people ,,,,and if they do this then it is wrong and when people know better they do better, sohelp them to understand your side of the problems.
