Sometimes we have 'moods' where there are things that we supress and they show up later in life! I think sometimes when I feel depressed or sad it is a collection of things that either I haven't dealt with yet or I bypassed completely and subconciously I am still dealing with it. It is an emotion and it is good to feel emotions from time to time because then you know you are still human and can be affected! But if you could do this for me,... go to the nearest mirror (where no one can see you but you) and SMILE your biggest smile! Maybe it won't make you feel the best but it will make you realize that some one out there still took the time to say KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND SMILE=) One!

When I'm upset, really upset (like mending a broken heart) I cry while I eat Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia right out of the carton as my warm tears melt my ice cream.

There a plenty of days where i just wake up and feel sad for no apparent reason - it happens...
I usually hunt around for a block of chocolate...if that doesnt work I listen to music.

My yoga instructor says that days when you feel sad like that throw yourself a ten minute pity party. Have a good cry get it out and then forget about.
I find that exercising helps too.

I think of something sad, and I start crying. Eventually whatever it is that is upsetting me rears it's ugly head and I can deal with it.

write in a journal
listen to music
watch something funny...
dont worry, its normal to be sad for no reason. it'll go away. if youre ALWAYS sad, maybe you have depression and should see a doctor.. if not, then it'll pass soon.
