Well if you are a girl and signed one of those "contracts" to abstain from sex you are more likely to have anal and oral sex.

One good thing that abstinence does is give you time to clear your mind. Say you have been in some 'no so good relationships' and sex was the mainstay of them. It will leave you feeling used. Staying away from all the mind damaging sex will give you some time to regroup...start afresh and you won't die not having sex for a while. The next time you give your body to some one make sure you are connected to a committment and the 'real thing'....take some time out for rebuilding.

If you've never had something that you might enjoy, then it's less difficult sometimes to keep from having it. You can't miss what you've never had, in other words. When you do have it eventually, then you will value it, yourself and the person you have it with more IF you find someone who will share it with you in a mature relationship.
On another note, you also avoid greater risk of contracting STDs from having casual sex.

unless ur very young and not in a committed relationship..abstinence is the key! but if not i say what for? life is short and sex can be great with the right person!

Depends on your age In my case at 66 it might just as well be a good meal instead so I have given up about the whole subject and any way what is it your asking.~~

PRO's : Protects you from unwanted pregnancy. Protects you from STD's and Hiv/Aids.
CON's : If you have "done it" before, then you know without it you will be horney as heck. If you havent "done it" yet, then you dont know what your missing so "no big deal".
It is always better to abstain until your ready for it!
