Italian Rock Vasco Rossi- Rewind?

Hi, what does rewind mean in the Vasco Rossi song by the same name?? I speak italian pretty well and I understand the song, but I don't know what "rewind" means in the context of this song...any help welcome! thanks!

It's the same meaning as in English since Vasco has used the english term to mean the tape that's rewinded. It means that if you rewind the tape you can figure all yr past life.
In Italian would be "riavvolgere il nastro"
