You can use regular Prestone or other antifreeze, or you can go spend more $$ at a motorcycle shop or dealership for what they sell (YamaCool, KawiKool, HondaCool, etc.) if it makes you happy.

Just be sure to cut it 50-50 with DISTILLED water, NOT TAP WATER. Distilled water is about $0.69/gal at the grocery store, and does not have the minerals to deposit and corrode the inside of your radiator.

If you get coolant from an auto parts store, make sure that it's rated for aluminum engines.

Use the stuff specifically made by kawasaki, don't use the cheap crap.
