My teacher used the example of the word '******' and how its meaning has changed from racist to '*****' meaning something positive. Can someone PLEASE give me some words I can write about whos meanings have changed, positive or negativly? Thank you soo much =)

crack-now means the drug
smack-used to mean to slap or a quick kiss
snort -was a noise a pig made
huffing-was out of breath
well now-I think there might be a problem here-I'm an old woman and all I can think of are drug related words!!! lol

Hmm... I think the meaning of "vader" changed in Germany or some place like that some time after first Star Wars triligy came out. Or maybe it was "darth". I can't think of what it ment before but I think it means "black", "dark", "evil" or "father". Sorry I can't help you more.

It used to mean happy, now it means homosexual.

first one that comes to mind is gay...it was always describing someone who is happy/carefree and now it describes someone homosexual
