War has been a constant in the world since the beginning of time. Same with crime and sin.

I believe that we will continue to be human in the future, and peace will only flourish after the end times

On July 22 2009 the longest solar eclipse of the century will take place over the Pacific, Southern Japan, South China and North India. The total eclips will be best visible in Nanking (Nanjing), China and Allahabad (Ilāhābād), India.

Nanking was the capital of China during several historical periods, and is listed as one of the "Four Great Ancient Capitals of China". The Republic of China, which controls Taiwan and neighboring islands, claims it as its "de jure" ("by law") capital. In 1937 it was the scene for the "Nanking massacre".

Allahabad had its name given by the Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great in 1583 as a memorial to Din-i-Ilahi ("Divine Faith"), the syncretic religion founded by Akbar with elements from Hinduism, Islām, Christianity, Jainism and Zoroastrianism.

Two years from now will be more of the same. Ignoring the Iraq issue for the moment and focusing on the world in general, we will have had several major terrorist incidents with lots of US lives lost. I suspect there will have been several natural catastrophes both in the US and around the world. The push for the global warming referendum will have gotten farther and the people of the US will be arguing about the 2008 election no matter who is in power. The nations with integrity will continue to stand with the US against the minions of darkness.

"The history of the failure of war can almost be summed up in two words: too late.
* Too late in comprehending the deadly purpose of a potential enemy.
* Too late in realizing the mortal danger.
* Too late in preparedness.
* Too late in uniting all possible forces for resistance.
* Too late in standing with one's friends."
- General Douglas Macarthur

More war and violence will be the scene. We will most likely pull out of Iraq,which will be followed by replacing a limited civil war with ethnic cleansing and an all out civil war,either that or Iran will move in and kill many times more than current death tolls to quell the unrest. Perhaps they will just essentially wipe out the minority to stop civil unrest,and while we are ignoring them they will continue to cause unrest that will push up oil prices,so they can make larger profits,thus making it easier to have the money to build nuclear weapons,so long Israel it was nice knowing you.

Our ally Al Queda will rule the US as part of the Democratic Party. By voting for the Democrats the US has shown strong support for Al Queda so terrorism will be limited to counries that have not yet sumitted to Sharia Law. We will have allys of all countries ruled by Al Queda. There should be more peace as Al Queda does not tolerate deviance from truth. Homosexuals will hang from the gallows and adulterers will be stoned. Women will be beaten to submission. So war should be less as people conform to the Al Queda/Democratic party position even now promoted by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

I seem to remember back in college (I went on horseback ;-)

it was noted that in the entire recorded history of the world there have been 287 years of peace. I don't think that's gonna change in my lifetime.

US army will be destroyed by the world peace army made of all nations armies. US citizens do not want to be US citizen any more and they want to be Italian or Chinese for example.
U.S.A will be exhausted and powerless.
