Well, start out for about 5 mins each day (dont handle for first 2/3 days after feeding), increasing slowly as the snake becomes more confident. Increase it so that it is hopefully 30mins, an hour or longer when the snake is an adult and calm with you.

I do, however, question your seriousness, when your next question is "Can snakes eat leafy green veggies", no, they bloody cant. Do one search on the internet and you'll get a million web pages saying "All snakes are obligate carnivores".

As long as you are willing to supervise them.

Snakes are very good at getting themselves into trouble. They are experts at hiding. So they should not be allowed to free roam around the house. And large snakes could pose a possible threat to household pets such as cats or small children.

I have no idea but you just reminded me of a freaky dream I had last night where I had to eat snake skins.
Weird.
