The dress is perfect for a prom.
I would like to make a few comments though. In the photos you are wearing the dress too high. The reason I say that is the fitting of the bustline is sitting higher than your own line. To fix this you can get those stick on bras to give you a little more lift so the dress fits better, or lower the straps. Also in the photos there are a few lacing loops not used. To get the best fit, you should use them all.
The skirt length is nice but I didn't see your shoes. A really nice pair of strapy heels would finish the look.
Are you planning to wear your hair up? I think that would be really dressy.
Rather than focusing on loosing weight, why not just work on toneing up? I didn't see that you really had all that much to loose.
The dress is great and I hope you have a really good Prom!

The color is beautiful. Ooooh, I love the back too. The dress is great. And the style is attractive for your shape too, Good choice. You can always wear a push up bra. I suggest you wear an up hair do with tendrils spiraling the sides of your face. And just a silver necklace with a drop crystal and & crystal drop earrings Hope you have a lovely time

Lovely dress!! Blue suits all brunettes in my opinion.. you made the right choice! Good luck with your prom, and losing weight too. I think you should just tone up though, you look nice!

Great dress, it suits you really well, love the shade, you are not plump, ur a curvy girl like meself, flaunt the curves girl ^^ you dont need to loose weight.
