I use to drive a Honda Civic bought regular gas, and never had this problem, last week I bought a Infiniti G35 coupe and now have to buy premium gas.

I've filled the G four times now, and twice it's happened. I'll go to the station, prepare at the pump outside with my visa, and start filling it. It takes $70 to fill it to full, but the gas stopped pumping at $30 or so.

I am 25, but I am not spoiled nor superrich, I did pay for the car myself....do you think the gas attendant see the car, then see me and decide to have some "fun"? Twice I'd been able to fill it until it's fun, one time I put in the pump, it pumped out $1, then stopped, I pumped it again, stopped at $2, did it again, stopped at $3, finally the forth time it let me fill until it was full, some $50 later. And no my credit card has no preset limit at gas stations.

Some pumps flow is faster than others. If the flow is too fast, it could hit a spot in the inlet pipe, causing a backflow which the pump registers that the car tank is full and cuts it off, to prevent overflow.
This has nothing to do with someone playing with you, it just has to do with the position of the gas tank in relation to where the filler is.
To prevent this you can use a different pump/petrol station or simply hold the handle only partway on when filling.
I know this is a fact because when I had my car changed to duel fuel (LPG and Petrol) and when the petrol tank was adjusted for the gas tank, I had the same problem.

All new vehicles have an evaporative emmisions system to contain the fuel vapor in the gas tank. Its the largest single plumbed system in most cars now. If your gas filler neck isnt pinched or restricted its more than likly a vent shut valve thats not opening, tricking the nozzle into thinking the tank is full.

Try turning your ignition on and off a few times the next time it happens. A dealer or good shop should be able to correct the problem.

some later Honda's have a narrow filler tube with a tight bend, next time you fill up try only squeezing the pump lever half way and or turning a little bit side ways. what happens is the gas cant get down the filler neck quick enough and spits some back up and shuts off the pump.some Japanese cars can be tricky to fill.

it's not the fuel, it is because the air that gets traped in the tank, will push back and click off the nozzle early. try pumping the fuel slower with the gas spout not shoved all the way inward,

you may eventually need to have the fuel tank vents looked at.

Maybe you just keep getting a touchy nozzle ... that's happened to me a lot of times, where I know my tank is almost empty, and the nozzle trigger keeps clicking after a few moments as if I'm full.

The only other thing I can think of, is that something is wrong with your tank float/sensor.. or it's just giving off a false reading due to your tank shape, or something along those lines.
