I never aim for perfection I like quirky and odd and think of most things as a work in progress ie never finished/incomplete

I don't aim for perfection. I aim for better.
Take housework, I never aim for perfection because I'll never attain it but if I aim for better and just tidy one thing away then it's already better and I've achieved my goal; I'm happy and I can pack up whenever I get sick.
Every crumb that I hoover is one less so already the floor is better, it makes me feel good.
If I went for perfection, I'd quickly go insane because as soon as you finish housework, you have to start again. As soon as you finish the garden, you have to think about starting again .
Go for better folks, be happy.

I'd be hard-pressed to have to claim perfection in any area. Perhaps I'm perfect at being me, or I've just had a lot of practice at it. So much to learn....so little time.

each day i try to do my part for my children, i spent so much time locked inside a drug crazed shell never really giving myself or my children a glimmer of who i really was or what there father was all about so each day i spend with them i try to be the perfect dad, the father i wish i would of had, understanding patient, warm and interested in them.
