The gold bracelet with my moms' nick name on it she bought herself . She always wanted one, so on the back she had engraved, 'I deserve it'. She gave it to me a couple of weeks before she died, and told me whenever I really wanted something, to look on the back of it and remember...I deserved it. I lost that precious piece of jewelry about a month or two after she died...I've never forgiven myself, and it's been 25 years.

I lost a favorite shirt; it was orange and red and yellow tie-dyed. I was thinking about it last night because a friend of mine mentioned wearing tie-dyed shirts and I sadly realized that all of mine are gone.....*sigh*

My grandfather's gold keyring... i had a car accident several years ago,, and the keyring got lost there.. i still feel so guilty.
