There are shortcuts to pictures in My Recent Documents section & whenever I try to open it it gives me this message
"The drive or network connection that the shortcut refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disc is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again."

When I check the properties to see where it is located it says the target location is G:\ only I have no idea where this is or how to get to it.

Will someone please let me know how I can get to these pictures & what the hell a G drive actually is.

Thanks.

It's probably from your camera's memory card, which will show up as a drive letter (like G:) in Windows when you plug it in. Try plugging in your camera to see if it works.

Hi,

This is just a Shortcut created by some of the Network computer's which is the same Network. or ur CD Drive letter is "G" or a shortcut of ur Digital Camera or other Memory card drives.

As of now that link is not accessible so only ur getting this error. If is not required just delete it.. ur only deleting the shortcut it doesn't anything.

The documents are most likely saved in a USB memory stick or external USB drives, once the drives are removed, the links no longer works until the drives are plugged back in.
