last summer i was home alone!!the door rung and i opened it.they were three men saying that my mother called them to check the door of our electric garage !!!they asked me to give them the remote control!i believed them so i gave it and i entered home!!then they said me that the door is ok!!they gave me the remote control and they left!!after two days we noticed that the alouminium window near the garage was being tried to be opened!!
btw before we bought this house, the owner was an old couple that had many expensive stuff!!!we thought that the damage of the window was being made before we moved here!! anw we put security system just in case !!!
the first strange was that my mother didnt call them to come and the second they came with a van!!!
my question is these three men came to robber or did they confuse the houses;

I think they came to check out the house and to see how they could get in!
Don't let strangers in when you are not sure about them!

Actually, It's just common sense. Everyone knows that it is wrong to talk to strangers or letting strangers get in your household, especially if they are men! Anyway, you could have at least called you mother is she has called 3 men to check your electric garage. Those men could've searched your house and find a certain place to break in! But, it is really a good idea that you put a security system, to be safe.
If ever those men who were driving a van ring your doorbell again, and if they say something that your parents called them to check something.. Call your parents if they did.
And remember DO NOT LET STRANGERS THAT YOU COMPLETELY DON'T KNOW LET IN YOU HOUSE.

i think that they got the houses confused, but they could alsohave just been checking out the house to find a way in...if something like that happens again, ask, "whats my moms phone #" and if its right, then it probably ok... also they should have official ID cards and a company logo on it...

you let 3 strange men in?are you insane?are you crazy?never let ANYBODY near you[in your home]without your parents knowing!if that happens another time,close the door and tell them you will ask your parents,if you can let them in!honey,they could have done a lot worse than steal things!!!]please be careful next time!!

never let strangers into your house especially 3 men if you don't know them and you are alone...you are lucky that is all they did....
