Well, the question is HOW do you care about her. Is it a friendly caring...or is it more romantic.
If it's friendly, do what the other poster said. Just tell her.
If it's romantic, think twice about if you want to risk what seems like an awesome friendship over something that might or might not even work out. If the friendship is worth more then possibly losing it, it might not be worth telling her. Alot of times the romantic feelings just go away, or change into something more..friendly.
Whatever you do, think long and hard about how much you're willing to risk, and how much you're looking to gain.

Well, if you really care for your female friend but only as a friend, you better be careful about being sweet to her because you might send the wrong signals and it will be really complicated if she falls for you when to you, she is only a friend. If that's the case, I will just be there for her whenever she needs me.
But if you know that you're feeling something deeper for her, then it will be another thing. Take time to be really sure about your feelings because you wouldn't want to destroy a precious friendship just because of a false alarm.

why wouldnt you ask her sounds like you think there is some kind of problem to saying it? Just beware if its a she on the net. They arent always what they seem. Hope it goes well for you.

No need to tell her, just let her feel it. But if you want to be more than friends with her tell her how you feel. You won't know the answer if you don't tell her.

one night when you both are not doing anything and get together and tell her how you feel about her she needs to know if its just your mate then go out to the cinema and get a drink or somthing

dont tell her staight out because that can become trouble if it goes wrong ask her out to the movies or somewhere and see if there is a sparke... good luck!!!!!!!

beware though. your friendship will change.....
even if you don't it will still change, maybe for the worse, as it did for me once. I ended up walking away when she started dating her ex. it made me realize how I really felt and by then it was too late...
