NO. Revenge (getting even) is like correcting a wrong by doing another wrong. Revenge conflicts with the principle of justice which upholds what is morally right and fair.

No, but they are related in a way. Justice is something that is not achieved immediately - it takes time. Revenge is when one is impatient to see justice served.

Revenge amongst equals is justice , but revenge taken on less mighty is pure crime worthy of might to justice to be taken away from perpetrators of such deeds .

it is our mind, that wants to avenge because of the hurt it has got but otherwise everybody knows that revenge is an animal instinct in itself and it cannot be compared with justice in any way.

there is worth to the idea and should not be dismissed...
tastes of this are already happening - victims are allowed to speak directly of the pain that they feel to the person that committed the crime.
the idea being that the criminal will feel that pain to a degree.
the value of this is yet to be measured comprehensively - however the idea is there
