does posting poetry of your own on the internet safe?

should i worry of the copycats for doing their job and getting the credit...regardless of whether good or bad the poetry is.

You should try to find a way to mark your poetry by the way it's worded. If someone does copy and gets some type of credit, try to get on them for plagiarism. The site should have a post date on it.

If you want no one to be able to steal it, don't post it. if you don't care you can. I mean, internet is a public place and if I see something I like, I might use it. Not professionally or commercially, but privately? yes. So protect your stuff you want to keep safe. :)

yes..its risky! the least u can do is ban right click/copy paste option on ur poetry page..it will help to a reasonable extent!

Once you post on the internet, it's a free for all to use whatever you've posted.

yes, you should.. there are lots of people on the net.. and they are found all over the world so it is so hard to trust and trace if your work is yours alone,
