my w2k3 server all of a sudden just stop booting up, for reason i dont know.
first, when i turn it on it, it runs the POST and gets to the point where its showing Windows Server 2003 (with dark background) attempting to boot/initialize. but simply remains trying to boot without really coming up. And even sometimes reboot by itself, and goes on in this cycle.
i`ve tried "Last know good configuration", "Safe mode", and all those options there still no way.
who knows what this problem is and the solution?

Sound like one of the hardware device driver may have gone bad, even a faulty hard drive or with bad sectors can cause this, hope you have a backup.

What you could try is to boot from the 2003 CD, and choose 'r' to repair, then run a chkdsk/r command to check for any bad/corrutpted sectors, most times this is the cause and you should get Windows up and running again, if you have RAID, then you will need the RAID drivers on a floppy and hit F6 during the bootup for Windows to access the hard drive correctly.

I would go here and ask them to be sure, cause after all is a server and no doubt cost a lot.

www.protonic.com is an online community that provides technical support to computer users for free. We prefer to call our users "Clients," because we have the philosophy that, despite our service being free, you should still receive the highest quality technical support.

Tell them as much possible information bout the server/pc.
