i treat people in the same way i like to be treated
i need it to feel good about myself and even if the other person is not behaving nicely i enjoy being the bigger person.
and yes it is challenge sometimes cause some people are really rude.......

Its a need because it's important for me. It's a challenge because of the normal challenges of life or the day, but I know that by being nice to others means I'm understanding and willing to let that person express themselves and not interrupt; etc. By doing that they and others will see the example that I'm making and will be more inclined to behave the same.

It just makes me feel better knowing that I have treated someone how I would like to be treated. Not sure what the psychology is behind that - I guess it just takes less energy to do the right thing by someone than it does to do the opposite. I have never seen it as a challenge, more an unconscious way of life

I like being nice. It makes me feel good to make someones day with a smile or a kind word. I don't think it's a need or a challenge. I think it's part of who I am.

Yes. Because it helps me become a better person and effect other people in being nice... it is a need because we grow in being nice and we see things differently if we are nice... ;-)

I believe in karma which reason number1 for me.
And i do feel its a challenge, when you see a jerk in front of you try to hold your temper and put on a smile and the hardest for me is to walk away without strangling him or her. Is it a need. sometimes I really want to liked, its human nature.

being nice is pretty important in life, its about having good manners and concideration for others.
i would hate to be someone who didnt have those qualities, these are the qualities a good parent should instill in their children from the age they can understand you.
thats what humanity is isnt it?

Being nice is a necessity , so we don't all kill each other ! Even if it is a fake nice , it is better than a felony !

its important to me definitely. i hate it when people talk to me rudely, i just cant stand it. esp when its a stranger, my mentality is that i never did anything to u, why are u talking to me like that.
basically that's me, i force myself into a mindset that treats everyone the same way im treated.
