Kepler Wessels.
He definately played and opened for both countries in a World Cup, in 1983 for Australia and last in 1992 for South Africa...

And he was a QUEENSLANDER!!! Okay, so he played for us and was a South African...still counts...

K.C. Wessels is the only player who have played for Australia as well as South Africa in the World Cup. He played in the 1983 world cup for Australia and in 1992 world cup for South Africa.
