Depends on the type of boiler and controls. If this has just started to happen, it's possibly a stuck of faulty zone or 3 port valve, though zone valves usualy fail 'Closed'. Could also be a faulty switch in the timer. It could be numerous other things, it would have to be inspected and the problem traced, can't just guess these things!!

If your system is not a combi boiler, it will have a valve that is positioned to provide heat to the radiators, hot water or both.
This valve may be faulty, allowing heat to the radiators when on hot water only. The radiators would get very hot because the room thermostat would have no control.
If you have a combi, sorry, no ideas.

depending on your system, you either have a 3 port valve (y plan) or 2 port valve (s plan) passing (in other words not shutting off fully)

most common type is honeywell v4073

note the body needs changing and not just the head

Are all your radiators hot or just those in your bathroom and toilet? If the latter then this is normal and is 'cured' by turning the radiators off.
