i'm contemplating getting mine done but i keep vacilliating between thinking it's really, really disgusting and thinking it's kind of cool. thoughts?

I don't think they are that attractive or useful. I'd think of something else to do to achieve a sense of "cool" instead of getting a tongue ring or a spike. Ouch...By the way, the more I see Russian women the more I think why was there a cold war??

I don't really find it very hot, but I don't really find it disgusting either. It depends on the person I guess. I would never get one because they can cause so much damage to your teeth (and wallet to fix the chipped teeth).

I think it's a nice thing to do for a very nice person in your life... lol. But it is definately hot... ppl seem to automatically associate the tongue peircing with oral sex or sexual stimulation itself..... So that's awesome in my book. I do have one and they are fun to play with, they look neat, and the peircing process in itself is exhilirating... In my opinion though haha. Just make SURE you're visiting a qualified professional, if you're not sure about your peircer or the facility just dip and find the right one. But have fun, you will love it!!

Friend of mine has one, and swears it increases the sensation when kissing lol.... but i think it's a little disgusting.

It is way overrated and disgusting. Personally I question people's character when it comes to body piercings because it is not unique or cool or any form of rebellion because a lot of people have them. They are retarded.
