As the internet is the best tool to express one's opinion, why we,in the UK, don't get together and tell Mr. Brown, we had enough of tax increases, directy and indirecty, and 91 tax increases since 1997 is more than enough for an average family in the UK, when the wages are not refelting the tax increase. Lets get together and fight this goverment.

Well as we live in a democracy we have the chance to get together and 'fight this government' at local and general elections. Judging by recent results and the figures for turnout, not enough people feel strongly enough about it to make a change.

Because it's 'death by a thousand cuts'

No-one notices a few pennies here, a few pennies there - eventually after 10 years it comes to hundreds of £££'s - but still no-one notices ... except those who retire with Private Pensions who are leaving UK in droves (since there is little doubt that Private Pensions will be the next target for more rip-off taxes = why do you suppose he has encouraged everyone to save more by giving us such generous tax breaks ??? it's so he can Tax it all back in a few years time .. ..)

Fight this Government? What, and get the Tories back in? No chance!
I don't have a problem with taxation per se - it pays for the National Health Service and education for our children. People who bleat about paying tax should remember this.
What I do object to is money being drained away from these services pursuing illegal wars just to keep the USA happy.

It is funny that you now want to pay less tax!

Where were you when they wanted to invade Iraq? When they decided to install another trident missile system and a few days ago to build 2 new super aircraft carriers?

You think wars, armaments and ruling the world cost nothing?
