kobe in cleveland would be the better move. kobe is a big time scorer and will be uself in that team where points are sometimes hard to come by when lebron isnt firing. the team also has solid rebounders in Varejao, Ilgauskus and Gooden, all 3 of them would crash the boards and benifit from the defensive attention that Kobe gets.

James would do well in LA too. his all round game would make up for the no game that some of the players have. his passing ability would be valuable in the triangle system and his ability to attack the rim would be good considering the team lacks dominant rebounders.

i still give the nod to the Cavs because the East is a lot weaker then the west. even with James playing in the West, the lakers would still be a team on the verge of playoffs and on the verge of lottery. the east is a lot less competitive after the first 6 or so teams. and even then, not many of them passes the 50 win mark....in fact, it was only 2. the Pistons, and the Cavs.

I believe Kobe in Cleveland would have a better team. If LeBron was in LA, I think that they will not even make the playoffs, and plus, they wouldn't have a role player that they can look up to since Lebron is about the same age as the players in the Lakers squad. I really like LBJ, but he needs more experience.

Kobe tends to have a mystic effect to him like the old Jordan. When he has the ball his team mates tend to stand around and watch. Lebron has not proven anything yet so I think his team mates can have the confident to play with him--not watch him play. Kobe is the best player in the planet now but basketball is a 5 man game.

kobe's new team would be way better as kobe is the best offensive player today in the nba, lebrons team knows the situation of the game and how they supposed to play. As for the lakers they seem to not care for each other and the game, and there Defense is horrible but I can see lebron trying to hype them up.

Lebron in L.A, the way the Cavaliers respond to Lebron is not because of the players there it is because of Lebron's leadership. Kobe on the other hand is very much still a cry baby who will destroy the Cavaliers just as Lebron makes the Lakers better.

kobe in cleveland he would recognize what type of players he have, as you see in game 2 against the suns, kobes team is garbage, and lebrons team has a better supporting cast than kobes.

It pains me to say it...but I have to go with Kobe in Cleveland. I just think that it is too much pressure in LA with only 1 superstar player. Kobe was fine with Shaq, I think if you put him in a location that isn't so "Hollywood" he will win another championship.

lebron playing in LA would made LA a much better team as he has not yet developed "I'm a star" mentality so much so that his teammates would appreciate his character & thus played with more cohesiveness making them a much better TEAM
