I received three double quarter-pounder cheese burgers when i only ordered a Big Mac extra value meal. Should i tell Ms. Sassy as at the drive-thru that she made a mistake on my order or should i just give them away to my co-workers?

Always, even if the guy behind me honks! Too many mistakes made. Funny though, when I check, most often everything is fine. If I don't check, get home and there's not what was ordered!
In your case, eat up!

They screwed up, give the extra burgers to your co-workers. Oh, and I never check my order in the drive thru, I'm always embarassed when whoever is driving does that. Could you imagine being the person who handed you the back and having to watch as people make sure you know how to do your job? I would hate that feeling.

I never check my order. That's what I have a wife in the passengers seat for. If I get more than what I asked for, I don't say anything. If you take it back they have to either let you have it, or throw it away. They will tell you that up front. If you get less, you betcha. Go back, show them the mess up, ask for what you ordered, and demand that you get to keep the extra as compensation for their mistake. Remember, it'll go in the trash anyway. They lost the money on the mistake the minute they handed you the food.

Always look in the bag to make sure that you have the right order so that they can fix it right then.
It's like going through a bank drive in, always check that the receipts has the correct amount ($200 instead of $2) and the cash is correct. Once you leave the bank drive in, it's hard to prove that they gave you the wrong amount.

Yes, I always check the bag after ordering through the drive-thru. It's a good idea to do that.

I always check them at McDonalds. Oftentimes, the employees do not understand English well enough to get the order correct. Usually I have to sit there and try to explain that my son is a BOY and does not want a Barbie toy....or that a drink really does come with the combo meal.

Out of honesty, tell her. Keep them for you. They'll be good re-warmed. YOU paid for them, in a "round-about-way." Unless they're willing to pay you the cost of the Big Mac Extra Value Meal (divided by three people), don't pay for someone else's food. Would THEY do THAT for YOU?

Share with your co-workers and never leave the drive thru again without checking your order. They all screw up!

i *always* check my bag - usually while i'm still @ the window - had too many wrong orders in the past!

In your case, I'd smile real big @ ms. sassy thang and share those burgers w/my friends if I were going straight back to work ...

I always check my bag before I leave the Fast Food establishment to avoid your issue.

I suggest that you tell the people at the front and show them your receipt, they should correct the issue, no problem. but in a polite manner because if you get smart and "all up their behinds about it", they may put something in your food that will make you sick or even spit in it. It has happened before to a close friend of ours.
